Bio
Tim Strausser is a 1998 graduate of Greenville High School. Upon graduation Mr. Strausser attended Slippery Rock University where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. He received his Master’s Degree in Education with a specialization in science education from Walden University in 2011. In 2020, Mr. Strausser obtained his principal certificate from PennWest University (formerly, California University of Pennsylvania.)
Mr. Strausser began his teaching career as an elementary teacher at Commodore Perry School District, where he taught until 2015. He was an elementary teacher at Greenville Elementary School from 2015 - 2024 teaching 2nd, 3rd and 6th grade. Mr. Strausser began his administrative career as the assistant principal at Greenville Elementary in the summer of 2024.
Mr. Strausser has been an active member of the school and local community by serving as an athletic coach for the last 20 years, most recently as a varsity football and baseball coach for GHS. Mr. Strausser lives in Greenville with his wife and three sons.
